Refund Policy
At Made to Mean, each piece is made with care and personalized specifically for you or someone meaningful in your life. Because our products are custom-made, please review your order carefully before placing it.
Personalized Items
All personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or there is an error on our part.
This includes items customized with names, dates, initials, photos, messages, or any other personal details provided at checkout.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Because each order is made to order, changes or cancellations can only be requested shortly after the order is placed.
If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible at madetomean@gmail.com. We’ll do our best to help before production begins.
Once your order has entered production, we are unable to make changes or cancel the order.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order once it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
Once we review your request, we’ll let you know if a replacement, correction, or refund is approved.
Customer Errors
We are not responsible for errors entered at checkout, including misspelled names, incorrect dates, wrong photos, incorrect shipping addresses, or any other personalization mistake submitted by the customer.
Please double-check all personalization details before placing your order.
Returns
Because our products are personalized, we do not accept returns for reasons such as:
- Change of mind
- Ordering the wrong item
- Incorrect personalization submitted by the customer
- Delivery delays caused by the shipping carrier
- Preference changes after the order is placed
Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that it may take several business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by an error on our part.
Lost or Delayed Packages
Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are controlled by the shipping carrier. Made to Mean is not responsible for carrier delays.
